Question about friends list?

I took a few months off so I have not been on steam for a while. I cant remember whether something like this happened or not but it seems strange to me. I have 2 people that i met a while back on my friends list, but when i go to their profile, i dont see myself on their friends list. Does that mean they took me off while I havent or do we still have each other on both of our lists? Thanks for the help.

well if u see them on your friend list they obviusly still have u...

The friends list has been acting up lately. You'll still be on there, but you have to click on their Friends link now to see the whole list. I've got 84 friends, but my profile main page only shows 5 or 6 right now.

yeah, nvm about this problem. I thought for some reason i was not on their friends list but i am. I just cant see their entire list, only the first 6 so i tested it by going on a game and then looking. thanks anyways.
