a crusaders crossbow idea

what if it dropped a health pack on a enemy kill, similiar to the candy cane?

the health pack could have a line of code to make it similiar to the intelligence so only allies can pick it up, not the enemy.

the little health pack can be team colored after the guy killing the other guy, and if a blue guy picked up a red pack he will get hurt, and a red guy will gain health

It'd be pointless most of the time, and griefing if ennemies can pick it up.

How often do you crossbow someone close to an ally?

Crossbow is a long range weapon.
You almost never kill someone at close range with it.
Allies would basically never get an health pack from it.

Give it passive reload, that's all it needs.

I've never played any Team Fortress prior to this one, but from what I can gather, it's basically damage over time that doesn't go away until you get healed by a Medic or maybe go to the resupply (keep in mind that they didn't have the cabinets before TF2, they just filled the spawns with craptons of ammo pickups and medkits, so it wasn't an option back then). Also, if it would be EXACTLY like the TFC infection, it would spread between enemies who touch each other.
