GAME WONT LAUNCH

Im not sure if it has anything to do with it but im using chrome latest version with its built in flash player

I also have java 7 update 4 64bit version

What is the fix to play this game
All i get from steam is preparing to launch and from the install folder it says nothing when i click it.

hey just incase no one wants to check that forum after reading this im going to attempt evey fix that was mentioned in that forum here.

a)Download latest flash: at: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Gives me "Your Google Chrome browser already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in. Google Chrome will automatically update when new versions of Flash Player are available."

b)Edit: found a solution - exit Steam, go to game folder, launch Isaac.exe, wait for 10 seconds and game will run.
Game doesnt load, in task manager it shows up then goes away after 2 seconds

c)To fix that, without deleting your progress, you need to exit Steam, launch Isaac.exe from game's folder, wait until it launch and press F (to go to window mode). Now you can exit, and start game as usual thru Steam.

d)Wait, when you are running Isaac.exe without Steam there should not be Binding_of_Isaac.exe process.. You can try killing all these processes and launching Isaac.exe again (not Binding_of_Isaac.exe)
Only isaac.exe is launched and then closes

e)Have you tried uninstalling the game, and deleting your save file, like the poster above mentioned?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, have no save file and even verified integrity through steam and does not run

f)Ok, found another way to turn off fullscreen:

1)go to ...Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\L3TT3R5\localhost\
2) Open so.sol with Wordpad
3) In the end of file find " full г г "
4) Delete last "г" so it will be " full г "
5) Save file and start game from Steam
after finding the #sharedobjects and random letters folder the next folder localhost isnt there to change any settings

g)Try verfying the game cache. It worked for me.
steam says its perfect and didnt work for me

the last 2 posts in the thread the people said nothing in that forum helped.

Im still unable to play after recently purchasing the game.

Update: i recently tried downloading java 32 bit but still doesnt work, i noticed i was using nvidia beta drivers and updated to latest recommended drivers and still didnt work.

I now sent in a support ticket for answers and for a possible refund.

I dont know how to contact the dev. ::shrugs::

It's a flash coded game, it shouldn't be so difficult to run.

Check your security, it might for some reason think that, as it's an .exe it might be a virus.

Support should tell you for sure though.

problem still there but good suggestion;

i installed Machinarium a flash game from steam to test and it worked.
also installed non ie flash player both 32 an 64 bit individually and isaac still didnt work. tried disabling hardware acceleration and it didnt work.

upon opening the game in my task manager werfault (windows error reporting) opens then both programs close in the task manager never showing up on the screen as a program though.

UPDATE: So far steam support has given me an email to contact the dev. so hopefully I can find a solution.

plants vs zombies
faery solitare
machinarium
portal 2
counterstrike GO
mostly any good game

for some reason the binding of isaac just crashes.
