I see what you mean Gazoo. I don't really care about mobo features as long as I can game. And as I'm sure you've noticed, the links on your build are inactive. And another thing, for money saving purposes, I'm sticking with an Intel i3. But your benchmarks make me want the 6870 more, definitely. Lastly, I'm playing at 900p as shown in the original post. Thanks.

Weren't supposed to be links, just copy/pasted the cart. Don't know why you would take the i3 as my build is within budget. Or do you need Windows?

EDIT: Forgot the CPU link apparently.

If you can't/won't save up a little extra for Windows go with;

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121419

Then it should be ~$720.

Atleast get the PSU in any case, you won't find better price/performance than that deal, I guarantee that. RAM+case is fairly random, picked a cheap solid option. Personally I would probably spend a little extra and get Kingston 1333MHz and a matx case.

Yeah, I thought that was possible, but I haven't seen anybody do that before so I didn't exactly suspect that. Yes, I need Windows, so that would be right at my budget. I just thought that I could save some bucks to upgrade some other part of my build. I'll look at some benchmarks and decide. (I know i5 is always faster but this does save money and all)

EDIT: Disregard that. I thought your build was 600 not $700. And thanks for the links.

the 6850 shouldn't have a problem with any of the games you listed, and the i5 would give you that boost in video editing performance.
Yeah, I just thought of that... I'm sitting here trying to get a card that is major overkill. Even the 6850 is overkill to tell you the truth but I'm making this PC future-proof more or less. In fact, I was thinking about getting a GTX 550. A lot of people like nVidia and it IS very compatible with... everything Lol. I'll think about the i5 though.
