IDEA: Update to the latest remote download feature

I'm not sure if this would be the case for most, but I would appreciate if the Steam client could block remote download requests on user-specified computers, or cancel the download if the computer's hard drive space falls under a certain (maybe specified?) point. (ex- My Hard Drive space is limited on a certain PC, I left Steam open on it, and I hurriedly download the Half-Life 2: Episode 3 Beta) At least on a non-SSD HD, accidentally filling up one's hard drive past a certain point could be harmful to the physical drive. Alternatively, a warning system alone could be useful if the HD is filled past a certain point.
