The open pvp. Talk crap then u could be hostile and killed. Reallllly goin to miss that. Was my favorite aspect. Really seperated the game IMO. Don't like the sound of arenas

I really never care about PVP in any type of RPG, because it's 100% reliant on your level and luck with equipment drops.

PVP was half the fun in diablo for me. I liked the fact that you had to trust the people you were playing with. Sometimes rivalries developed and the people you killed would hire bounty hunters to get revenge. Streamlining it and restricting it to PVP arenas takes away the randomness that makes it fun for me.

PVE in an RPG also relies on your level and equipment depending on the difficulty of the monsters so your point is moot.

The only difference in PVP is that you are playing against players instead of CPU and this can be more fun since if you decide to thrash talk etc., you will get killed.

Sry to say but u couldn't be more wrong. U can make a lvl30 that can kill lvl 90s in two or three hits n diablo...its more about builds than anything. This is what made diablo so unique. Unless u have I'd guess 300-400hours in it u really never could have grasped all the crazy ness. The game offers... builds r what make the game

that's not true. i've played a lot of diablo 2 and a bit of the first. someone that's 60 levels lower than you would have trouble even hitting you in melee, never mind doing damage.

TL2 has basic PvP anywhere. You can flag yourself as PvP at any time with a command. To save me the trouble of explaining this all over again, read here.

i hated pvp in d2 it was a griefing nightmare, you'd be levelling up, all of a sudden in comes a lvl 90 bow ama with maxed guided missiles, never saw the toon just a whirl of missiles coming from the side of the screen then dead. yeah the good old days how i don't miss them.

no, i'm not wrong. i've played many melee characters and I tried to play pvp with all of them. it can be hard for two characters of equal level to hit each other. charge was pretty annoying but theres no way in hell a level 30 charge paladin would kill, say, a level 90 druid werewolf, or bear.

i don't think that paladin would even have enough mana kill that druid.
