The 10 BEST and WORST weapons added to the game?

In no particular order:

Best:

1) The Buff Banner: Reinforces teamwork, gives Soldier a niche, really turns the tide of battle, but work is first necessary.

2) The Disciplinary Action: Replaces the scarcely used melee weapon with another team benefiting item.

3) The Equalizer: A nice consolation for those on death's door, but only if used properly.

4) The Chargin' Targe: Opened a WHOLE new world for the Demo, and Demoknight can be a difficult but rewarding fighting style to implement into ranged combat.

5) The Gloves of Running Urgently: Another method of replacing melee with utility, something totally helpful but fair for the Heavy.

6) The Frontier Justice: Another method of rewarding those for a job well done, as well as punishing those stupid enough to get killed by a Sentry.

7) The Ubersaw: Provides a vital reward for those a bit more daring.

8) The Kritzkrieg: Replaces one treat for another, quite beneficial to the team given your current situation.

9) The Eureka Effect (Despite Arena mode): Allows the Engineer to be very versatile on the battle field, provided he excludes his buildings to one spot.

10) Your Eternal Reward: Adds a whole new defensive element to Spy, and is in huge favor of those who play the class intelligently.

Worst, in no order.

1) The Enforcer: Something else just encouraging Spies to use the Dead Ringer, and completely discourages stealth.

2) The Cow Mangler 5000: The beginning of the terrible trend; a million pros and a million cons to counter them. A weapon should only differ from the stock in one or two ways.

3) Jarate: Despite putting out fires, it just allows those who are almost entirely useless to anger the other team (especially Spies) and gives the Sniper, who should remain defenseless, the possibility to cause major damage.

4) The Tribalman's Shiv: BLEED BLEED BLEED DAMAGE PENALTY DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE IT CRITS ALL THE TIME BLEED BLEED

5) The Ambassador: Another reason for Spy to engage in direct combat, completely overrides the Razor Back.

6) The Sydney Sleeper: No need to be accurate, just Jarate them and force your team to do the rest!

7) The Splendid Screen: Completely removing all the need for accuracy and timing from Demoknight.

8) The Phlogistinator: Need I elaborate?

9) The Direct Hit: Despite its appearance, it's only used to blow up weak enemies point-blank and take our Sentries... I have yet seen a Direct Hit used as intended.

10) The Force-A-Nature: Is there any purpose to this weapon beyond annoyance? Pushing the target AWAY from a weapon that does most damage point-blank doesn't seem helpful to me...

Just a few particular annoyances and praises of mine... Your opinion? What would you change? Why?

Razorback not on worst list.
Spy-cicle not on worst list.
Jarate on worst list.
Equalizer on best list.
GRU on best list.
Ubersaw on best list.

...At least if you had put the Spy-cicle on ONE of the lists, it might protect you from the inbound flaming.

Let's go near-worst, The Pyro immunity REALLY makes th Spy lose its character. Also, I didn't have the Razor Back on there... I just mentioned it regarding the Ambassador.

What is the Direct Hit's intended use?

Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion, man.

EDIT: 999 posts. I need to find a thread with an appropriate topic to make a Doctor Who reference in.

I think the Kritzkrieg should be at the top of the list. It is simply the ultimate example of an unlockable done right. I can think of no other weapon that pulls off the type of balance with its counterpart this weapon does.

It's the definition of sidegrade.

Edit: Yes, I saw you listed in no order, but Kritz should still be at the top!

You are COMPLETELY wrong about the Ambassador, it's not a direct combat tool (like the enforcer)it's a completely new assasination method that works on mid range.

What's wrong with Ubersaw? Risk vs Reward

Here's my list, I think it's pretty good...

Best: I'm basing this on how important the weapon was to introduce a new element to the class while keeping balance with the other weapons, while still being useful.

1. Kritzkrieg
2. Flare Gun
3. Ambassador
4. Frontier Justice
5. Gunslinger
6. Huntsman
7. Degreaser
8. Jarate
9. Your Eternal Reward
10. Dead Ringer (flameshield engaged)

Worst: Weapons that don't add much to the game, are forgettable, useless, or unnecessary, or imbalanced.

1. Enforcer
2. Phlogistinator
3. Dalokohs Bar
4. Pomson 6000
5. Claidheamh Mor
6. Winger
7. Scotsman's Skullcutter
8. Warrior's Spirit
9. Spy-cicle
10. Family Business

1. I see the ambassador on the bad list
2. I dismiss you as a troll or as an idiot.
