ERROR CODE 51

Hi, so i bought this game(nexuiz) and downloaded it. i waited for some time and when finally the big moment came... the game gave me a black box saying ERROR CODE 51. I tried to re-download it(i tried 5 times), Verified game cache(dozens of times) and defraged( also dozens of times) it but the game wouldnt load up. Now i need your help, if anyone can help me from this dreaded ERROR CODE 51 and let me play this magnificent game(nexuiz)

Basically, some applications will negatively affect game performance. I guess that means you shouldn't have all those applications open at once?
