Fun With PDAs
Yeah, you guys remember when the Engy PDA and Spy Sapper got loadout slots, right? Remember how the Spy subforum had all of those bad Sapper ideas? Except for one that everyone considered credible because Svdl made a model for it?
Why didn't that happen over here? I can understand that the more indirect role of the Engy's PDA makes it harder to work with, but I don't remember seeing even one suggestion over here. I'd type more, but I'm tired, kthxbai. |

didnt see all the threads about moving the pipboy to that slot?
the reason there arent many unlock ideas is becuase buildings are bound to wrenches, and not the pda |

Yeah I'm kind of confused about that to. Do they plan on reworking the gunslinger, or how do they expect PDA's to work...?
I suppose they could just make the gunslinger overlap with whatever the pda had as a sentry instead, but still keep any other new buildings that pda had. |

I would think that melees would affect the sentry in the sense of a level, with our current system of levels 1, 2, 3, and Mini, and have those levels as 'base' statistics, and have the new PDAs be modifications on those.
I don't like giving the Gunslinger its own PDA, because I want anything we do to the stock sentries to be an option to the Gunslinger as well. |
