For me personally, it would be a minor annoyance. Since I already rarely crash and sit at a capped 132fps. Saying that, I'd gladly play something else for a week so that everyone who has problems could get them fixed.

I really don't think that an extra week would be enough time to solve that many problems or errors, especially since there are only 3 people working on TF2 as it is.

I'd rather wait until Dota 2 and CS:GO are finished for a while before expecting any huge updates.

Bug fixes should not require any significant downtime to implement. They do need manhours to code, and much of Valve is busy with Dota 2 right now.

Yes I would. I frequently stop playing for longer periods because stuff is broken so a week would be easy and a reward at the end with shiny new FPS and working stuff in my favourite online Hat simulator.

Not sure if I posted in this thread already, but if so, it's worth posting again to show support. Yes.

A yes from me.

Team Fortress 2 is in dire need of optimisation. I don't really see what they could do though.

Maybe more feedback to the user when loading maps and so on so I actually know what it's doing as map load times seem to have increased recently.
