BTW - The Developer: Cyanide, has directed North Americans to the distributor since it seemed to be a unique problem here. I have looked at the Cyanide forums and seen that there some people complaining about the same issue. Cheers Keg |

The official forum on the game's website told people to contact the North American distributor Atlus. So I just sent them an e-mail. We'll see what they say.

In Windows: Disable the sound card's effects. This sounds like an echo effect. The problem with consumer audio cards is they come with a ton of features that nobody should ever use. I went with a pro audio card a decade ago and have never looked back. Make sure that the Default Format of your playback device is set to 16-bit audio. Also, you should disable onboard audio unless you really know what you're doing. And check Creative's website for a driver update.

Do you have the "listen to this device" setting checked on any of your recording devices? That could also be problematic.

"listen to this device" is unchecked. I also disabled my sound card and enabled my onboard sound and still had this issue. I have updated all my motherboard drivers and updated the bios but still experiencing the audio echoing and seems like its slowed as well.

Upload DxDiag.txt to Pastebin. I need to see the whole file.
It would also be helpful if you uploaded a list of running processes. Open a command prompt and type: tasklist>C:\processes.txt You'll find the output file in the root directory. You also never said whether you disabled all of the effects/enhancements. Quote:
