Jimmy's vendetta

After spending hours trying to correct two big (for me) problems, I've determined my unplayably slow game performance and crashing when continuing a game were due to too much time played and too many saves.

GTA SanAndreas had a similar problem where too much time played led to a "traffic glitch" where cars would merge into one another or go so fast you'd never see them coming.

I started a new game in a new slot and it works great. I could only get 20 minutes of play and had to use missions as save points on my last slot.

The main story and Joe's adventures were never affected because there was nothing to do after completing them so saves for them were minimal.

If I knew how to hex edit, I could reset whatever internal timer or save count built into the game files.

I do enjoy gaming, got 100% on the Assassin's creed series, as well as the GTA series. Not bad for a 74 year old guy!?
