Took me 2 tries again today. Dropped him in goo on the faith plates. May have been my placement of portals, but you may want to change that. This is of course the 2nd and good run! =)

I had more play between these two, but I thougth it continued from my first mess up. It didn't. Which may be good because I got stuck in a faith plate loop and had to restart the level. This is from that restart. I havn't completed it yet as I got confused as to what to do.

When you are in-game, bring down the console and type "record [yourdesireddemoname]" (without the quotation marks and brackets). This will start the recording. To stop recording, type "stop" into the console. You will find the recorded .dem-file in your Portal 2 folder afterwards.

Unfortunately, the recording will not continue when you die or load an earlier quicksave.

I'm quite proud of this one - it's probably my most ingenious (read:devious) map to date. Unfortunately, this also means it's probably my most difficult. There's no real skill or dexterity required, and no hacks/exploits, only logical thinking.

I'd really like it if all you ninjas could try and break this map. I think the map has legs, and want to get it perfect.

I'm also in two minds about keeping the three external cube rooms - I think the main chamber stands up on its own, but I decided to add the other rooms to give the chamber more value for money.

Thanks, I love these demos and it is always fascinating to see how someone different approaches what you thought was a straightforward puzzle. I am not sure why the test chamber sign is showing "00" and blank--when I play them from the queue, they always show up numbered and with the proper signage.

I know exactly how, because I watched a friend of mine do the same thing last night and we both sat there for several minutes laughing like fools as he tried to get out of it. I just have to think about how to prevent it, because I assumed that after a player saw the loop that the second cube was (deliberately) placed in between them, they wouldn't try to do the same thing to themselves. Maybe a player clip brush over the faith plate. I have a few other things to fix anyway.

Okay, I published an update to Boot to the Cube to prevent the faith plate loop and fix a few other minor issues.
