OT: I've never tried the coaching system, but I figured that these sort of things happen eventually.

Tried it once, the student was actually a pro who had over 1000 hours in TF2 and unusual hats.

I've only tried coaching friends who were getting back into the game, but I'm probably not the best coach out there.

i tried using text chat to communicate with a guy ignoring my mic

turns out everyone on the server can see what you're typing as coach, even in team chat

me and the enemy team had one hell of a laugh about how ♥♥♥♥ the system was

It is very possible to be good at spy and bad at everything else.

Spy doesn't take skill or DM, it takes weakened or unaware or distracted players.

I was trying to coach a spy on Gorge.
He refused to listen to my advice, and instead never attempting to disguise, cloak, sap, or backstab, but opting to try to gun down his teammates, scouts, heavies, and a Wrangled level three Sentry with the stock revolver.

When someone goes premium, it askes them who has helped them the most.

If they answer you, then you get specs + item
