Max Payne 3 Full Screen problem.
Hello
It seems no one else has this problem but i use an Nvidia gtx 560 along side with the latest drivers and have the most peculiar problem. When on DX11 I can't switch the game in full screen. It just doesn't work. Any resolution or option it simply automatically instantly switches it off again the moment i set it on. I tried forcing it with a command and the game freezes then. Full screen works on DX9 but i want the DX11 goodies. Currently i play it in windowed mode  .... not very convenient but it works. Any ideas?

Yes i see this problem as well.In DX9 runs full screen ok, however in DX11 it keeps dropping out of full screen back to window mode and then starts messing with the graphics settings.

same here dx11 on 560 TI nvidia, game keeps dropping out of full screen to windowed.
I tried differetn screen resolutions and it still happens can go back to full screen with alt+enter or play windowed |

Is there no solution to this? I can't go full screen with alt+enter, so I hide my taskbar and pretend that it's Full Screen.

Solved it. Make sure you have no desktop remote access software running when you are playing Max Payne 3. I exited Teamviewer and now I can play on fullscreen.

I seem to have a similar problem, when I try to launch max payne, for some reason the screen keeps on flashing from fullscreen back to windowed, it's a really frustrating problem for me because yesterday the game was running just fine, today I cannot get it to work.
 I tried validating steam files, removing newly installed programs, updating drivers/windows, nothing seems to help. running on directx 9&10 didn't help and alt+enter didn't do anything for me. Can anyone help me?? |

I fixed the problem just by disconnecting my TV from my PC ^^ everything's working fine now

I had the same problem, but it's related to my CCC - Catalyst Control Center (old and latest also).
The solution for me was to hit ctrl+alt+del and kill CCC.exe

YES I GOT MAX PAYN 3 TODAY EVERY THING WAS OK THEN I WENT OUT CAME BACK LATER TO PLAY AND NOW WINDOW MODE ??? AND IF I RESTART GAME IT KEEPS GOING IT wft IS WROUNG WITH THIS GAME
