Can I use mods in singleplayer?

Can I use mods in singleplayer without any risk being banned by VAC?
For example, I want to use Just Cause 2 mods to open all vehicles in the black market.

Just Cause 2 does not use VAC as far as I know.

Edit: Just Cause 2 (as you may already know) is a single player only game. Only Multiplayer games may use VAC.

Here's a list of games VAC protected
Just Cause 2 isn't on the list.

However, use caution if using 'trainers' and such and close them (and verify the process isn't running) if you join a VAC protected game. As those can make VAc target at you.

You cannot get vac ban from a game that does not use vac. Also if you cheat in one game the vac ban will not go to other game.

Are you saying that if you cheat in one VAC game, it will not ban you in other VAC protected games? If so you are wrong, if you cheat in any VAC game and get caught, the ban will be across all VAC secured servers.

NO!

The only times it will ban you from more than one game is either:

Or you use something that contains a VAC disabler. In all other circumstances, a ban in one game does NOT ban you from others.
