How people get all their games to trade in Steam Trading?

I have my STEAM account with many games, but I have got no game to trade with.
How do people get all their games to trade in Steam Trading?
I don´t understand how they have games to exchange.
Thanks a lot

They buy them and put them into their inventory. You can't trade games already added to your account.

They buy the games and you have an option to put the game into your inventory instead of putting it into your steam account so they buy them cheap and then try to get whatever game they are after.

THANKS ALL FOR YOUR HELP
You ain´t gonna believe this, but I weekly buy games in STEAM (my account has over 200 titles) and I have NEVER realized that there was an option to buy a game to add to the inventory...

It's called money. People buy games when they're on sale and try to trade them later for more valuable things.

Is there a way to put a retail DVD STEAM game into the inventory?
i.e. here in Spain you can buy retail Fallout New Vegas for 5 Euros and Modern Warfare 2 for 9 Euros.
It would be nice to be able to buy the retail game and add it to my inventory...
Thank you!

that feature can be easily abused. for example you trade me your cd key then you decide to get back that game by opening support ticket providing your cd key that this game is yours and then Valve would remove it from my list.
