Campaign Mode
I know it's probably been asked before, but I missed it and didn't see how people responded, would campaign mode be a good idea if done properly?

I really don't think so. Either you make good multiplayer game or good singleplayer game. You cant have both.

if done properly? sure that would be great.
will it be done? no..., at least not in cs:go but if I had to choose between cs campaign and half life 3's story I would choose half life 3, since cs is made for competitive multiplayer. |

Halo? Doom Quake Half Life 2 (I thought DM was great) I'd like to see it. Even if it can't be done pre-release (which I very much doubt it will), I think it could be done as an Update/DLC. |

For 15$, just focus on the multiplayer.
I wouldn't mind a singeplayer campaign, but i don't think this will work in CS. |

Remember guys, I said "If done properly" so that means, it would be a perfectly done single player with good voice acting, good cut scene animations, etc. So the question I was asking was if VALVe and HLE made a perfect campaign mode, would it suit the game?

I'm sorry, I was liking your idea, but you lost me there. No cutscenes in VALVE games. Ever. The only 'cutscene' I can accept is something like the Portal 2 ending cutscene: you never leave first person perspective.

those cutscenes were necessary because of the massive use of props like the turrets and the wheat, i was ok with that. otherwise valve should keep aways from cutscenes

Yeah, I know. That's why I didn't have a problem with that cutscene. And I agree with you, VALVE should stay as far away as it can from cutscenes.
