Can't Customize Character

Okay, I've run into quite an annoying issue. I can't customize my characters using the general menu that shows age and other attributes. I must use the advanced menu, which, for some reason, doesn't have all the features that the general menu has, thus preventing me from changing some of the appearance features of my character that came pre-loaded (such as age lines). Issues are shown here. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/55...3238556D53ABC/ As you can see, my character is not a 18-20 year old, skinny, dark skinned male. The character won't respond to the inputs. Here is a facial issue I was not able to resolve as a result of not being able to use the general menu. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/55...0B2D3B2C3497D/ Also, before you even ask, yes, I have verified the game integrity and defragmented the cache files. Please help. Google has failed me.

When you use the general menu, you set the guidelines of what your character will look like when you press RANDOMIZE.

As for the Advanced Menu, you can go under Skin to change skin tone and age.

Okay, nothing is wrong with your game.

1st off, the advanced menu has way more features and sliders than the basic menu does, the problem is you don't know how to interact with the interface.

Do you see that little white hand in your screenshots? Move that white hand around the screen and your character will change in appearance, the hand acts as the slider.

So if you want to adjust the lines or wrinkles on your characters face you have to adjust the detail on the skin and move the hand until the hand is invisible.

Also the bruises on your character could be due to the complexion, in that case go to skin, complexion, and move the slider until your character looks younger.

I promise you, nothing is wrong with the game you just need to learn the interface a bit better.
