Achievments/Secrets not unlocking

I think many of us have the same problem and i think i got it since an update of wotl

Ive got the spelunker boy
beat cathedral with blue baby and mag and i have beaten all the challenges but i only seem to unlock the achievments and the secrets remain the same , i know this has happened to some of you pplease give me some advice in what could i do

The only clue we have at the moment , it's that it could be a savefile corruption problem. I messed up with the two savegame file (so.sol and serial.txt, that are somewhat redundant and contain the same data) and the problem somewhat get fixed.

0) CLOSE THE GAME and exit Steam.
1) Locate your "so.sol" , to do so, go to "C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects" (or whatever is your dirve letter).
You may need to do "show hidden folders" or you could not see the folder.
2) Once there you should see a folder named with 8 random numbers/letters, inside it you will found the file "so.sol".
3) Cut and paste it on your desktop (or a safe place of your choice).
4) Locate your "serial.txt" in the "..\Steam\steamapps\common\the binding of isaac" folder. Cut and paste it as before.
5) Launch Steam and verify Integrity of game cache.
6) Start the game, it should be a fresh game, without anything unlocked.
7) Exit the game and copy your old "so.sol" back to the original folder (overwriting the new one).
8) Launch the game and see if secrets are unlocked.

If not:

9) Exit the game and try deleting the so.sol (backup it first!) again and start the game, this time a new "so.sol" should be created from the recent "serial.txt" , with all your progress present, and this could fix the problem.
So launch the game and check...maybe you'll be lucky as i was.

Currently "Secret not unlocking" and "Challenge 10/ Ending 13 locked no matter what" are fixable in already corrupted savegame files and SHOULD (need confirmation)be corrected in fresh games.

It's pretty simple to fix them, it takes 3 minutes.

IT WORKED!!! FINALLY! I CAN SEE MY UNLOCKABLES IN-GAME!!

Quick question tho... Is the golden god title screen permanent? or do i have to re-beat everything again to see the "puzzle" title screen

in 1.2 , talking of title screens, "THE END" > "GOLDEN GOD" > "POLAROID"

Now there is also a title screen for the PLatinum God, it overwrite for sure Golden God and Polaroid, i'm not sure about "The End".

P.S : Finally? This solution was out in this post sin 9th of June and i think there were also other people that found and post it in other threads.

I keep seeing mention of this so.sol file, but I've never seen it in my binding of isaac folder. All I have are:
Flashachievements.exe
Binding_of_Isaac.exe
Isaac.exe
myFile.txt
serial.txt
steam.txt
steam_api.dll

that's not where the file is. It's under users/appdata/roaming/something else.

From here:

1) You need to find "so.sol" on your computer; if you know where to find this file go to step 6.
2) Navigate to "C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects"
3) You should see a folder with 8 random numbers/letters for a name. If so, skip to step 5.
4) If you don't see a folder inside of #SharedObjects, run The Binding of Isaac. Once a folder appears, close the game.
5) Go into the randomly-named folder, then the "localhost" folder. You'll see a file called "so.sol"

I didnt have to copy my old so.sol back to the original folder, steam downloaded it for me or something. Got my achivements unlocked in game now. Thanks!
