Hi Left 4 Dead 2 players and/or Zombie enthusiasts.
I am here today to propose a simple yet important change to the item spawn system in Versus. I think most of us agree that Defibrillators don't belong in Versus. You would ask why, am I right? Because one decent survivor team can make it to the safe-room almost everytime quite easily against an infected team of "equal" skill. There is nothing as frustrating to the infected team like being able to kill a survivor with strategy and team effort, just to see him/her being revived a few seconds later because someone had a defib... In my humble opinion I think that when a survivor is killed in Versus, he/she should be gone for good until the next round.This would be a "tiny step" to further improve the balance in this mode. TL;DR If you agree that defibs should be "banned" from Versus for all the eternity, then simply reply here saying: "/sign or /signed". Since there is actually a achievement tied to the defib is VS, I don't see it going away regardless of how many people were to sign this petition.

Also, there is much more work to do with the item spawns. What is up with the 568 pipe-bombs, molotovs etc. in No Mercy 5? The survivors can almost put the Tank on fire with their eyes closed.

Agreed.
Although what I do is simply increase the penalty from 25 to 200 that way the team roughly loses points instead of that small penalty. |

I think revived survivor should not get any more points towards team's score. So, once you are dead in VS. match, you can only help your team, but can not score anymore (until next map of course).

I am actually kinda neutral as I rarely see defibs in vs (I tought Valve removed them long ago :angry: ) but I do get annoyed when the trolls on the enemy team get revived.

This would be an acceptable compromise, if Defibs aren't gotten rid of.

Where are these 568 throwables you speak of ? I usually find somewhere between 3-8
