OS X: Resolution not changing

Before the update my resolution was 1280x720 by default instead of the correct 1280x800, but I could change that in the settings. Now whenever I select the correct resolution it doesn't change, as if the settings weren't properly saved.
Using launch options didn't change the resolution either.

I hate to bump, but I'd really like a solution if anyone's got one.

Bastion doesn’t just not change the screen resolution; when set to the native 1440x900 it stretches 16:9 content to fill the screen so everything is distorted.

I just sent an email via their contact form:

Bastion OS X: Resolution Bug

Message:
The bug (http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=2747434) has been around since the last Bastion update, and affects a bunch of people.
I really like Bastion, but can't stand the stretched, and flattened graphics. I stopped playing, and would really like to be able to enjoy the game again.

Thank you in advance for fixing this.
Could you guys send one also, maybe that'll get them to do something!

EDIT:
I got a response!

Hi, sorry to hear about the issue you encountered.

We are looking into possible fixes and consider including them in any future updates.

In the meantime, you should be able to play the game in a non-stretched aspect ratio by switching to windowed mode in the display options.

Thanks for writing!

-Gavin

What a shame, just as I started playing. It's so annoying, especially after going back from playing in non-stretched version my desktop. This should be a perfect laptop game and a bug so easy to fix.

Windowed mode is a joke in MacOSX, I can't even reach the bottom of the screen.

Same here. Makes me not want to play it on Mac OS X, even though it's my primary PC game platform.

Windowed mode doesn’t work either because the mouse is not captured and the pointer coordinates are wrong so 1. you can’t hit the bottom part of the screen and 2. you can’t actually keep the mouse in the game.
