Steam Support is useless ....

So I made a ticket about a highjacked account(mine) and this is what I told them : So a guy came with the name of one of my friends(that friend is the Owner of TF.ro)and he sent me a link about me on steam forums(I thought it's important),so I clicked, I logged in the fake link and then the PC Steam logged off, at that point the hacker went into my account and stole all my Hats,Keys and Metal from Team Fortress 2.He traded the items with this guy http://steamcommunity.com/id/wqad2wred12
I attached an image about the trade, with the trade history....If the attached file won't work, here is a picture link of the trade history http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...ckertrade.png/
Thank you.

After that, they told me this along with other ways i can prove is my account : If you purchased software through Steam with a credit card, please confirm the card type (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), full name, and last four digits of the card used with the order(s). (and after they verify they can help with my issue)...so I did it and then after they verified it,this is the message they sent :
Hello Daniel,

There is no indication that this account was compromised or accessed by another user. We will be unable to reverse these trades.

If you have any further questions, please let us know - we will be happy to assist you.

And one more thing...while they were "investigating" they sent me an alert through Steam saying something like : Your account was used in another PC,we've disabled your communication/store and others and you must verify it's your account...

Now what should I do next ? All I want is to get all my items back.

It takes about 3-4 days to answer...if I will keep talking with them nothing will happen...They will not help me with anything so I hope maybe someone here will do.

It takes that long because they need to investigate the issue and they have a lot of people to get to.

There is enough security in place to prevent these issues but they don't work if you enter your username/password into phishing sites. However, a lot people still seem to fall for it so you'll have to be patient.

Also, why wasn't SteamGuard activated? That would have protected you, or were you stupid enough to enter your email login info too?

talking about an account that was hijacked and with stolen items can take a longer respons time then when your account is hijacked normally and no stuff is lost

@Nekomancer Yes it was activated and the "hacker"'s name was the TF2.Ro Owner and I thought it's something important on that site...all I typed was the Steam user and password not the e-mail ones....But he passed the Steam Guard somehow...

That is only possible if the hijacker also gained access to your email account.

I think you need to really concentrate first on getting your account back first. then worry about your tf2 items. You're mixing the issues which isn't really helpin the case resolution.

You'll probably need to make that a tad clearer on your ticket then. Again something only Support can assist you with.

Also TF2 item restorations are only done on a case by case basis. And I think are only done once in general. So try to protect your account better in the future. Ensure you

1) Enable SteamGuard
2) Don't download fishy things from the internet
3) Protect your email via additional authentication such as SMS authentication or whatever your email provider may give

I looked over your ticket and it appears there was some confusion. You should be all good now. Keep in mind that the security of your account is your responsibility.
