Exclamation This game shouldn't have been released... yet.

I know it sounds harsh but we can't deny it.
There are to many bugs and i'm having numerous troubles as well.

- Crackling sound all the way (in-game and cut-scene)
- miniscule font size (on 1366x 768 native)
- resolutions are weird (340 x 400 really? And if you pick that you are boned because you can't change it afterwards)
- And with those resolution issues come mouse issues
- Textures going through objects (like blue fog in the caves)
- no sound options

I haven't played much more because of all these things.
It's sad to see such an idea in a unfinished state.
(I'm getting these issues on a Asus K53SJ)

Not that bad...

I've encountered all of the known issues in the sticky at the top of the board, but apparently not to the degree that it has caused the game to be unplayable. I have not had one FC, no issues with audio, no issues with textures - and I've only had to restart the game 2 times out of just over 5 hours of play to resolve one of the known issues.

I've played AAA titles that have had more bugs at release than this, so I'd like to offer up some kudos to the developers...

Fully agreed.

Yeah, I fully agree here. Those things mentioned by OP are not AT ALL the only things that make a game way not ready for full release yet:
- Voice Overs not existant where devs said there will be, instead, a random character HAS voice that GETS REMOVED later on????
- alt-tab-problems? REALLY? Why not disable alt-tabbing altogether then?
- Quest descriptions that take the quest to be given in a different city than it's received in atm
- Hotbar not at all managable: dragging a skill one place to the right makes it appear at the most left place, srsly?!
- Achievements not working at release at all
- Same as above for multiplayer and, more importantly, online single player, which means the advertised "seamless transition from single- to multiplayer" is not at all working, which also means you have to start over again for multiplayer.

And probably more I forgot now. I'm not at all saying it's a bad game or anything. But the state it is in is far from being anything near something I would consider a fair final release.

On my computer it runs great.

- No problem with sound.
- Fonts could be a little bigger.
- Why would you select 340x400, I don't get it.
- 1920x1200 no problem with the mouse.
- Haven't noticed any texture problems.
- They said that they are working on more options, sound included.

I'm not saying you don't have problems, I'm just saying not all have.

It has some issues, but the game is completely playable for me and I haven't run into anything game breaking.

Same here. I've seen Triple A titles with worse releases.

The devs have stated that they needed to release early due to them running out resources to keep everyone funded.

We are working hard to fix the issues you mention. I think some of them seem to appear due to specific hardware configs. Thanks for your patience.

Update Caused XP issues

Since the update was pushed today, my 3 characters no longer advance in rank. I just now noticed it. Oddly enough I've been playing for an hour and a half now and was wondering my my characters were not advancing. I'm stuck at lvl 5... XP says a constant 0/5200 and never changes. I know I'm not that far into the game...but seriously...do I need to start over?

No, you need to recruit new members. Those guys are level capped at 5.

Heh..heh..Someone pointed this out to me in another thread. Feeling pretty stupid right about now. Just normally used to maxing out one group of characters. Great game though. I just thought I could run through the game with the same 3 little dudes I started out with.

I played like 5 minutes after being greeted by a message saying that the game features are still incomplete, I wonder why devs rushed the release. Anyway I don't regret buying it, I will just wait till everything gets sorted out hopefully with the coop added.

The date for coop is july 10'th (if all goes according to the things posted), so it will be a bit of a wait. The single player online experience should happen ~next weekish (looking at what Fatshark have posted)..

I would say once people report the UI/graphical/CTD issues have been sorted then you can safely start to play, you can already now, you might be lucky like me and pretty much have no issues at all

I'm really loving the game so far, no bugs here, just some conceptual things that I'm missing in the game. But those are designer choices, not flaws.
In my case, it was money very well spent..
