nice steam, they just took my money and/.....
Hello, people..
I'm just want to share with you some information's about steam. Few days ago I bought Max Payne 3, it wasn't working at all. So, i send to them email for my money back. They said to me that they will give me my money back only once and they want to be nice. Ok, they give me my money back on steam wallet. Now, I find out game colled @arma 2 opertaion arrowhead@, I bought it for 25 pounds, awsome... they took that money. After that, they change on my account price from 25 pounds to 15 and they put much better deal for sell. Thank you, steam for robbing me from my money... thank you. Never buy from steam, just go to shop and buy it because steam are .... Thx... once again.. |

Have you tried contacting steam support?
As for the discount, that's not steam's fault, it's just poor timing on your part |

Also, I find steam prices to be much cheaper than store prices.
MUCH CHEAPER. Also, since I'm in Canada, I don't get taxed.

You do realize that every company in the history of companies do this, yes? Good luck with your ability to buy any products from anywhere if you're going to swear off buying from any company that does this, you'll have nowhere to buy from |

Since you used "pounds" as a currency I'm asuming £'s sterling, is there any chance you can translate the rest of your post to English. I'm only asking because it's literally nonsense unless you explain it better. FWIW, yes it's your and our choice where we purchase our goods/services from. |

And as for the discount, you can't blame Steam for that. It's not like Steam purposely made it go on sale right after YOU bought it for full price. |

Arma 2: 14,99€ ARMA II: Combined Operations : 24,99€ The second one is the one which has OP Arrowhead included.....so i would say that he looked at the wrong Item in the Store after he bought it, and thinks that the Game with arrowhead got cheaper and so he got ripped off. But that we will only know of he answers again. |

They refunded your money because your PC can not run a game. In other words the game is fine, your PC is broken, yet they gave you the money back anyway. You should be thanking Steam but instead you are ranting. XBOX generation.

There hasn't been any price change for arma 2 or it's DLC.
I'm guessing you mixed up combined ops with operation arrowhead. |

this is why support should stick to the plan and sent you to that game developer for support to fix that game.
there was no need for them to refund(yet) and this is the thanks they get. |

If i understand right:
Steam gave your money back. Then you bought another game. Then Steam put the game on Sale for cheaper. I don't see nothing wrong here. It sucks when that happens, but i don't know how that can be considered stealing. |

Op sounds confused. But i sort of think i know what he is trying to say...
He bought Combined Ops for £25. He then see's Operation Arrowhead for £15 and mistakes it for what he has just bought. He doesn't know that Operation Arrowhead is only half of Combined Ops... Then, to make matters ever WORSE, he see's that Arma X: Anniversary Edition has somehow suddenly gone on sale for £24, but what he doesn't realise is that by owning both Arma 2 AND Operation Arrowhead (in the form of Combined Ops) he automatically gets a 40% discount on Arma X. |
