Just played through the demo

Interesting game with some thought required, but looks like it will be quite short.

The first 1.5/7 levels took about 5 minutes to finish. Even with ramped up difficulty towards the end, it still seems like a bit little for $10, especially with the limited replay value.

When the price goes down, or maybe if I see this in the Humble Bundle, then I will buy.

No joke though, kudos to the devs for putting up a demo. Let me make up my mind without paying and I respect them for that.

Mine looks pretty lengthy. Based on achievements and several hours of play, Im not even 1/8 through the game yet. I at first believed the same thing, I was looking at the bar code thinking okay this wont last long. The progress is not stored on the bar code, you actually get all new bar codes the farther you go.

Fact remains that there are only 49 basic levels. I just completed a seventh of the game in five minutes. Now I know that due to the difficulty ramping up later on, that statement might not be entirely correct, and there are some extra difficult puzzles after completion, but overall i feel the same as Thrasy. It is however, a wonderfully stylish game, with very interesting game mechanics and a beautiful soundtrack. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Keep in mind the words Basic Levels in the 49 basic levels. There are advanced stages once you complete the game, which (as I've heard) can take quite a while to finish just one of.

There are 49 levels to splice, many of which have a harder 'angelic' way to solve it. It will eat a good amount of your time to try and solve them that way.

Once you finish the game there are epilogue levels, 28 of them, that mix all of the previously learnt mechanics. They are far harder and of course, some too can be solved in an angelic way.

Actually, I think the epilogue takes more time than the rest of the game. I have not even finished the first strand.

Edit: After posting this I finished the first ^^

Did you solve 1-7 Epilogue with an Angelic finish? I'm still trying to figure out how to do that.

I actually meant the first strand :P
But I just got Angelic 1-7. Solution below:

Spoiler:
First, mutate all the cells. Now grab the entire left side and place it at the right side of the remaining cells (not at the top, but on the following cell). Now grab any 3-cell triangle of the longer arm you have and place it at the right of the topmost cell.

Wow, that took me a while x3

Even with the instructions it took me a moment to figure out. That was a tricky one. :P
