CSGO settings (rate,interp,etc)

Hi guys, i got a question . I've played csgo now for something like 3 weeks and i played css competitive. But my question is when i installed csgo everything was 'ok' for me , (hitbox, aiming etc.) but i changed cl_interp from 2 to 1 because people say its better? so my lerp went from something like 30ms white to 9 or 10ms orange, and i got the strange feeling im not hitting good anymore dont know what the reason is ? is it just me or ? and i got choke , is this bad ? i got the feeling its because of this, how to reduce it ?

A stable orange colour is good, if it flickers yellow at ALL, keep your cl_interp_ratio at "2".

okay trying, isn't it rate 25000 ? and the cmdrate and update rate cant be changed right ? because server sets it automaticly?

Oke, yeah i think the problem is the choke, its like i hit someone like 5 times and i do only 50damage, and normally with 5 hits he should be dead, you know its like i am shooting but nothing hits

And why such a low interp value. 0.01 is used for LAN.

I have read on multiple sites that the rate caps at 20k and if you put it any higher it will set to default, might be worth investigating.

How high is your choke? I only ever used to get choke on badly configured servers or when my net was capped.
