Please, for the love of god, make the weapons DISTINGUISHABLE from one another easily LIKE 1.6.
I'm not saying take the 1.6 sounds directly, but follow that sound direction and apply it to your new sounds. Also, can we PLEASE get model flinch, helmet spark, and body impact thud back? |

It sounds like the 1.6 and Source thing is about how audio works, not the actual sounds.

Please make it easier to distinguish the SSG08 and awp models. I have picked up far too many SSG08's on accident. Just put some camo print on it or something.
Also, make the scout a good weapon again by disabling scope blur for it, and giving it back it's speed boost and quick movement recovery time. |

I'd be content with the footstep, knife, hit/headshot and pain (fall damage) sounds from CS:S and reworked weapon sounds, to make them more distinct.
Also, kill the long-range gun sounds that have added boom and echo! Just like them fade out to nothing with distance like CS:S and 1.6 - no, it's not perfect, but from a gameplay standpoint it works better than what's in CS:GO.
