Trine 1 vs Trine 2

Hey guys I played the Trine 2 demo for pc back when it first came out and really enjoyed it. I still haven't gotten around to buying the full game but I will be very soon, my question is how is Trine 1 in comparison? Should I definitely get T1 as well or skip it and just stick with T2. I know there is a demo for T1 as well but for whatever reason I just feel like hearing peoples opinions on this.

UPDATE: To anyone who comes across this post with the same question as me I have just played the Trine 1 demo and really enjoyed it as well so I think both games are quite good and plan to buy both.

I think it's definitely worth playing. Looking back there are some flaws, the developers even openly admit to them, but for whatever reason I never actually noticed while playing through it on PS3, or PC/Mac.

It's just fun, and I don't think you should completely avoid it. Either buy it now, or wait for a sale, but definitely give it a shot too.

Trine 1 is the backstory for Trine 2, so there's that. I haven't played 2 very much yet because I still have to finish 1, but as far as I could tell 1 isn't missing anything compared to 2, they're both excellent games. If you enjoy one of them you'll enjoy both of them I think.

Trine 2 is much better than the first one. The jumping is easier, more puzzles, different kind of enemies... And of course, great Co-Op.

Not much to complain about Trine 1. It is good game too. The controls are kinda crappy though.

It's definitely worth it. Trine 1 has some mechanics Trine 2 doesn't have anymore, like those conjurable pyramids the Thief can grapple to, equippable items to give you additional benefits and so on.

Wait for the upcoming Summer sale and grab both games at once at their discounted prices.
