Question How do we make "Noob Magnets" like Dead Center and No Mercy more difficult?

Somebody in another thread said that Dead Center and No Mercy were "noob magnets" and pubstomper heavens so I'd like people to suggest how those campaigns can be made a living hell for noobs and stompers alike.

And how exactly are they noob magnets? Maybe the reason why people play them are because they are the best and most balanced campaigns (except DeC chapter 2).

What's so bad about them? No Mercy is my 2nd favourite versus campaign right after Dead Air.

damm right
there the most popular so maybe that means statistically there is more likely to be new players ?
but yes these are my favourites for VS

They aren't particularly difficult. Most of the maps are a clear path with few chokepoints.

so what are your suggestions then
dont tell me get rid of med kits ect ect
I play on my servers with buffed SI and it makes any map pretty even
Ive even noticed a trend for the survivors to either make it to the safe room B+W or die just outside which makes everyone happy

Most balanced? Hmm, no. They are played by pubs because it's deathcharge galore. Which means they can play without teamwork.

No Mercy 4 needs a tank spawn possibility. Easily the least difficult map of the campaign.

Dead center is an incredibly well balanced map, especially for pubs. The only real problem I have with pubs on it is 50% of the time the game ends on map 1, and 40% of the time it ends somewhere on map 2.

I'd say lessen the weapon spawns of both campaigns. Dead Center in particular has way too much weapons on all its maps. Same goes for No Mercy as well.

yeah I always wondered why nm4 has no double tank to compensate for the shortness and small rooms where everyone can hide/Camp in.

Dead air comes to mind as well. in left 4 dead 2 it's not even so bad in the third map but in the second map because of all the charger spots. But in l4d1 this is the pubstar's paradise for 25dp. Just disable wallkick as hunter in l4d1. In l4d2 it's a bit harder because of all the roofs in map 2. Maybe build blockages like fences on popular deathcharge/instant smoke spots.

Overplayed and with some of the easiest maps =/= best and most balanced.

dead center:
no windowd deatcharge on first map, only on the ledge area
fix tank spawn.
1 medkit and 3 pill at whitaker, less bilebombs
third map is okay, but boring

no mercy:
its a good campaign, there are no extra medkits and defibs, most of the time tank spawns before tier2 on map2 - maybe less throwables, expecially on the finale. And on the finale they should just remove the deathcharge spot at the top of the ladder, its a vera hard chokepoint anyway, you can zero 1-2 medkits at least.

well, maybe the door shoudl not be openable on 3rd map event, so they have to take the window if oyu smoke last guy and the others are dropped. It woudl fix the rushing there a little bit.
