EXTREMELY Bad Performance
I've just recently bought this game, along with the OA Expansion in order to play DayZ with a friend. My computer exceeds the reccomended hardware and everything is still blurry, and I can't run faster than 10 FPS. I've tried running it on everything on low to everything on very high but Antialising, anit. filtering, and post processing off.
My Hardware: CPU: Intel (R) Core (TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz (2 Cores) RAM: 6GB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI (1GB VRAM) HDD: 1 TB Monitor: 1336x768 (60hz) And if this has anything to do with it, my OS is Windows 7 Premium 64bit. I have tried updating my GPU drivers, changing the 3D Res to the screen res, and turning off post processing. None of these help! If ANYONE can offer ANY assistance with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by Due Diligence: 07-11-2012 at 07:44 AM. |

It isn't my PC, I am able to run other games such as Saints Row the third and Deus Ex: Human Rev on maximum graphical settings with 100+ FPS.

My performance issues are solved, however, the massive blurrieness effect is not. Every texture is low quality even on very high. Is there any workaround for this???

To get rid of the blurrieness disable postprocessing effects they suck anyway in this game.

I have those disabled, I've done everything to do with the settings to try and help. None of it works.

Try matching your 3D resolution to your actual screen resolution and see if that helps.

I told you, I've tried everything to do settings-wise. NOTHING works. Is there ANY advice that can be given? D:

You could post a screenshot so we can see exactly what you are talking about. |

Is there a way to do so?
Please tell me how I can post a screenshot, I'd be happy to post it. But graphics wise it just looks like smooth lines you'd expect in a modern game with textures from a late 90s game. |

Press F12 (default steam screenshot button in-games), upload it to imgur or something, then link it here.

Here's my screenshot:
http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/...8822870372365/ Notice the very low quality on the trucks, and the jagged lines on text and buildings. Shadows don't work correctly at all either. I am not exceeding 30 FPS either. This is on very high settings with PP off. |

I don't see what's wrong with the building, actually. Could you take another screenshot from closer to a vehicle? That screenshot is from too far away to tell if whatever you're seeing is normal. |
