Unhappy Well this stinks for me.

I couldent use source filmmaker on a mac because it cant be compatible. I downloaded Windows steam and run it off of Crossover games. but when i tried to open a map it gave me a white page. When i clicked Use Map. (i think its called) It crashed the game. Steam. And crossover games! I dident want to use Crossover 11 because trial is so stupid i couldent find a crack all they had was stupid torrent serches. So please Gabe newell. Make a mac version!

They are.
The downside for Macs is that they're not necessarily that great for gaming.

Q: Can I use the SFM on my Mac?
The SFM currently is not supported on the Mac.

Let us break this sentence down, "currently is not" This statement most likely meaning that they intend to port SFM to Mac. Although Valve is probably prioritizing on making other things. Like Ricochet 2.

macs are not for gaming. im sorry same for linux (unless you like open source games which you can also get on the PC too) if you really like games you def want a PC more options!

btw theres already a thread about this at the bottom of the first forum page anyways.....

Your post has been so helpful to this user seeking help. Next time...post something useful or don't post at all.

Anyway Evenois, have you tried using Bootcamp or WINE to get it working? Those would be the only options for a mac user at the moment.
