Cross-platform play?

since its fairly obvious by this point that its going to use GFWL for sure does anyone know if Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will support cross platform play between pc users and xbox users?
very few games support this feature but itd be great if this game did
the only games that support cross platform play are:
blazblue calamity trigger
universe at war: earth assault
shadowrun
lost planet extreme condition

sadly microsoft seems to have dropped this feature and blazblue was the last game thats been released with it which was a failure because 2 year delay, no ads, sequel released when it came out on pc, no digital download version
i mean..come on it was released on 2010 with no digital download

a lot of people probably dont care and for shooters it may seem like a terrible idea but for action, fighting, and racing games i honestly dont see why cross platform would be an issue

Lost Planet was pretty cool to have cross platform, but as far as we know there will not be cross platform play.

sadly its pretty dead now and the sniper was overpowered in the multiplayer

Off topic but Portal 2 has cross platform between PC and PS3. No Xbox though.

Portal uses steamworks which has the possibility. but as far as I know Microsoft abandoned cross platform play between 360 and GFWL users.
