This is just another whiney-whinerston post.

I picked up Gundemonium Recollection in an Indie Bundle because I was digging the aesthetic...and it was cheap.

But it's kind of like a sweet-looking tootsie-roll pop...with a spiked metal ball in its center.

Anyway, I seem to get as far as Stage 4 on Novice, and then keep stalling at the jester-type kid with the giant orbiting barrier (it comes shortly after the Samus Aran-esque fight).

Looks like I'm going to have to surrender on this one...and put my trigger finger on ice for a while.

Heh, I suggest going to youtube and watching some playthrough videos, they might give you ideas. If I recall correctly, all the shots from that boss are aimed, so if you just slowly move up/down in one direction as the bullets are coming and dodge them all. When the boss moves into the center, move to the center with it and finish it off at point blank range. I guess.

Thanks for the tips. I did manage to beat that particular boss, but only after switching to the rig with the monkey tail, drag bomb, and laser-beam. It feels a little cheap...but, hey, this game is rough.

Now, I'm stuck on Stage 5 which is pretty indescribably hard.

My heart was actually palpitating by the time I finally gave up.

I'm getting too old for these sorts of things.
