Our backpacks are full, need more space or make a new stack of refined metal

We need a new refined metal item which holds 10, 50 and 100 x refined metals and takes only 1 slot in our backpacks.

Please do post if you feel the same.

I really think that is why people buy keys. I'm very certain the demand for keys will drop drastically if valve does it.

Too many items, 1000 spaces was fine 1 and half years ago, not anymore, we need at least 5k slots. Normal players don't really need, collectors or traders do.

I wished that was the case. Valve could however remove the 1000 items limit or increase to 5000.

There are already plenty of items with a much higher value density than Refined Metal.

Scrap = 0.11 ref
Reclaimed = 0.33 ref
Refined = 1 ref
Key = 2.55 ref
Bill's Hat = 12.75 - 25.5 ref
Big Kill = 33.15 ref
Earbuds = 61.2 - 63.75 ref
Max Head = 122.4 - 127.5 ref
HOUWAR = 550.8 - 637.5 ref

All of these items have fairly stable value. Sure you will have to do some trading to get them but if not for trades why would you need to save up so much metal? It surely can't be for getting low craft numbered hats; you would need specifically Refined Metal for that.

And if you've got any crates...(unless it's series 30 or 40 specifically) do yourself a favor - do the community a big favor - and delete them. Trust me.

Valve would never do that.
Just trade your refined for keys, and trade back if you want metal to craft.

Just like keys, people buy promos for that purpose. I want to hold metal and nothing else. I like metal. I do not want promos or keys for that purpose. I want to buy keys if I need to unbox not to hold them because my backpack is filled. It's not only my backpack but many people feel the same, overstocked with refined metal.

If you have so much metal that you have run out of backpack space, then surely you can afford a backpack expander. You can get them for about 3 refined, I think.

Have you read what I wrote? There is a limit of 1000 items, can't use backpack expanders if the limit is reached, by the way they are not 3 refined, I would buy 1000's of them if they were cheap like that, market price at moment is 6 to 7 refined.
