Any idea what's going on with my laptop? The above picture is taken when I'm watching YouTube videos in 720p. Laptop is a 4.5 years old Acer Aspire 4920.

If only that Video dose it then there your problem it in video it self like was made that way.

I'm ref to other thing like using the any apps like notepad a game or just web browsing

Try connection your laptop to another TV/Monitor to see if the problem persists to determine if it's the screen of the laptop or something internal.
