NOTE: no wireless mouses

current mouse:Logitech g500
(if i rest my wrist its fine but in gaming makes it hard to move. if don't rest wrist tips of fingers are at end and right click is over. i use middle finger for right click) and this mouse feels to small form side to side

hand size: form bottom to top of middle finger 7inch to 7 and 1/4

and side to side (from center of hand) 3 1/4inch to 3 1/2 with out thumb 4inch with thumb included.

I have a logitech G-500 too and that that mice its already a huge mouse m8!G500 its a great Mouse for the asked price, try the Razer DeathAdder, but if you have money to spend get a razer mamba.Dont go with another logitech like the 700 or 900 because its the same has the g500.Its very hard to find the ideal ,sometimes the best way its to try to adapt to what we have.

Can I ask why you don't like Wireless Mice? (Just my own curiosity.)

I'm currently quite happy with my Logitech Revolution MX Wireless. I have huge hands, and find it very comfy. The battery in it is non-removable, but it lasts for several days even with extremely heavy use. It charges up very quickly too (full charge within 20-40min or so)

If I were buying a new mouse today, probably the only real choices to me would be either the Logitech G700 or the Logitech Performance Mouse MX

I got a G700. ^^

It`s optional wireless, so if you want to use it wired, go right ahead.

I have a Razer Lachesis, and it's probably one of the biggest mice i have ever used.

although it's an expensive mouse, it hasn't stood upto the quality i would expect for this price range. i had a cheap £5 mouse which lasted 3 years. this one started to die after the first year (since i paid so much for it i've kept it for 5 years so far)

after a year 1 of the side buttons died, the middle scroll click is almost dead, the finish came off also (this all started happening pretty soon after warranty finished.

the real thing that made me mad was the fact that Razer didnt want to know once the warranty had run out. every other company i've delt with were more than happy to help, Logitech being one of the best.

Dunno if you still need this info, but I also was looking to replace a MX518 mouse. It's not exactly like the G500, it's close though. Still not the same(tried it).The tilt on the right is less. You see, I tried a great deal of mice(<3 AZs return policies). Adder, Naos 5000, G500, Sidewinder, Sidewinder X5, Ikari, and the Rat 7. Those are all typically agreed upon as the 'biggest' mice. I was going to try out some CM mice, forget name, but the reviews detailed epic fail sensors and drivers, so I took a pass. Plus, it was fugly.

Anyways. For reference my hands are such. Wrist to end of middle finger 21cm. Across the knuckles 9cm.

In any event I found the adder very disappointing. The NAOS was spec'd deceptively imo. It had some comfort but the rest on the side made it readily apparent it's designed for smaller hands. On top of this its so low that my palm would drag.

The sidewinder, is decent enough. It rides high and is wide. I've found there's more than one way to palm it so that it's comfortable to use. The X5 though...has some terrible QA issues. Same shell, same fit, but... I RMAd..idk how many trying to get one that was actually level. Each unit I tried had the back feed higher than the front. Almost some issues with the r/l click not being level on most of them. Not being level made it unusable for me as every time I'd click the mouse would rock and the cursor would move as well. lame. Dunno if the regular sidewinder is even sold anymore. Maybe the QA was addressed with the X5 or I was being shipped a bad batch.

The Ikari was a lot like the Naos. That's all I remember. The Ikari seems to have a rather...forgettable experience. I remember the NAOS, thinking, god I would love for this thing to actually fit. Even wrote the company stating that the market for a mouse like that for bigs hands is void of competitors. Their response didn't show any interest in that niche.

The Rat 7. It's the only mouse that I can say has fit any way decent enough so that I can use it hour upon hour. Even it, though, is insufficient. I can't get that 'perfect' fit with it. As a result, I switch between it and the sidewinder to relieve the stress/fatigue each mouse inevitably produces. What's worse is that there seems to be some issue with it how Windows/Games(almost all FPSs) interact with how it dynamically adjusts it's polling. The cursor, my aim, will, at random moments(not often), jump so quickly I'd swear my character just did several 720s in one direction or another.

I looked into that a few days ago, seems there's third party software to force the polling to 125hz and it helps, somewhat. Another suggested fix was to disable 'enhance pointer precision' at control panel>mouse>pointer optioner. Been busy so haven't had chance to test it. For some games though, like CoD, it's pretty bad. The theory is that the dynamic polling go bonkers, it momentarily sets to 6000 and Rtards you into walls/grenades/Sad Pandas Holding Innocent Attack Kittens. If I didn't play so many shooters I would've ordered some trackballs and given that a shot.

Needlessly to say, if you have hands like mine and use your mouse hour upon upon then your options are limited. In the end you might just have to try everything that seems like it might not be made all those lil people around our knees. It was a hassle, and I can't say it was really worth it, but it was necessary to find a mouse that 'fit'.
