SMD animation from 3DS MAX

Hi guys! I've been compiling animation into the source SDK from Max and come across the following issue: when looking at the new animation in the source Model Viewer, the anim comes through ok but breaks the mesh. The arms and legs in particular looking very broken.

Has anyone exported an animation from Max, compiled it into source code, and seen it broken upon viewing in the model viewer?

If so, how did you manage to get around the issue?

Thanks very much for looking, any feedback is very appreciated.

Sounds like the bones aren't rigged properly to the mesh. I'm not modelling expert but that's my guess.

the only time i had such an issue is when the mesh is not fully skinned to the bones, or the ragdoll is a different sized model compared to my other animations(such as much a larger scale in comparison)

Yep, turns out I used a decompiled rig which was causing that nonsense :-s. It is sorted now.

The only thing I need to know now is how to get my compiled animation into SFM. Does anyone know how to do this?
