[BUG] Game won't start for me...

So I have decided to play DG again after not playing it since x-mas..

Steam asked me to have DG convert to a new format and I did... DG got updated for me with 150 more mb of files...

Proceeded to start game and it wont start at all..

Giving me the "Defense Grid:The Awakening failed to start(error code 80)"

It's the first time this game won't start for me at all.. It used to be able to run smoothly without problems prior to "converting to a new format"

Just decided to finally play the game again (since I just bought the You Monster DLC), it said it had to convert to a new more efficient format. So I let it do its thing... then it tells me, "An error occurred updating Defense Grid: The Awakening (Disk IO Failure)".

i believe i figured out how to fix the problem... i just restarted steam and run defense grid again and game works fine now...

i figured to restart steam coz i tried to run other games and they wont run at all or gives me an error... then everything is back to normal... i wonder what is causing this strange bug due to file conversion...
