Angry Can't beat the game without buying DLC.

So you can't get 100% completion (all points) without buying track DLC. What a ing joke.

Fortunately I got this free last year when I bought an AMD card. Didn't play the game until I recently bought a steering wheel.

Really disappointed because the game is a lot of fun.

It you like the game and have fun, why not spend the few bucks and get the extra content? I mean, you like it dont you? I know I did, 90% of games coming out have DLC so I think it's time to let go of the DLC crying and just get used to it.

This sort of mentality is exactly why there is so much pay-for-DLC in the first place. If people WOULDN'T pay for it, they wouldn't charge for it. $10 for one track? Come on...

I'd rather receive a polished, complete product rather than wait for patches and DLC down the road.

The more people that bend over and continue buying, the worse it'll get.

Have to agree here.

Have you played any other Codemaster racing game?

When they used to make the TOCA Race Driver games, it was amazing.

I wasn't a fan like that because I wasn't into racing that much, but a lot of friends were addicted to all of the CM racing games.

They literally had championships and all sorts of tournaments you could join.

And little by little they all started to degrade in value.

I understand people want to make their money, but don't do it by DLC that barely adds any value to the game.

For instance look at any PC title from 10+ years ago. For the most part there were no DLC or patches like there are today.

Now we would get some major patches but those would fix or alter and add content to the game.

We wouldn't get DLC, we would get expansion packs. Where it added a slew of content for us.

I am actually disappointed to hear this. $10 for one track, if it were 2-3 tracks, a few cars, and new livery, then I would jump ship.

Things aren't worth while and it is just a scam for publishers to get more money on virtual goods that were already there.

I hate that GameStop were the first to try to promote this hard.
I actually went to one to return some Xbox games that I didn't want and the employee pushed so hard to get me to pre-order because in the future when I wondered why this person had this gun or that item and I didn't I wouldn't like it.

I said I could ing care less, it doesn't make them better, I'm on PC, either we get it free or not, I really don't care.

It's all BS. Regardless if I like it or not, I just don't like the fact about DLC, and sadly it is the future with so many game companies talking about free 2 play and micro-transactions.
