laptop worth getting?

Define "steam games". It'll be more than enough to run Plants v Zombies.
Assuming you mean something meatier like Crysis 2, get a desktop. |

650m graphics should be acceptable at 1366 resolution for shogun total war.

That is a great laptop for the price. You should be able to play crysis 1 on very high settings if you set shadows to medium(not a big difference) and no AA.
I am playing skyrim on high with 40 fps on my amd radeon 7690m XT which is slightly worse then yours. I could go very high, but I havent had time to test it I can play metro 2033 on very high in dx9 mode. If by "steam games" you mean half life 2 and tf2, heck my HP DV7 with an i7 and intel HD 3000 can max it out. for shogan 2, you wont max it out, but it will still look amazing. That is an excelent laptop for the price, I would get it. you will like that laptop also, my 7690m XT is overclocked so I would expect even more similar performance. |

Yea that's a very good value actually you might also be able to get away with bf3 on mid settings XD shougun 2 yes
Almost all games that are optimised to a certain ok standard should run fine on med settings depends what game really =) |
