This isn't a game like L4D, where you are in need of teamates.. and people serve much better than bots.

It's still the same damn game.. just you have others to run around with. It doesn't change the story.. the atmosphere.. the locales.. and enemies. It changes none of that.
It makes it harder, which then results in better loot. I have noticed that games that are the same with single player or coop usually are always better with friends, but I don't have friends.

Boring game is boring. Wish I could give it away. Actually, no. That'd be cruel. Same boat as the op. There are plenty of other good games. Chalk it up to lesson learned.

It was fun for a while, but it soon got repetitive and the game was impossible near the end game as a sniper, I couldn't kill anything, even when I was getting headshots every time

Did you even put points on your skills? i have maxed all chars and sniper is an instakiller due to his abillity to ignore shields with ANY weapon, BL Primary enemies at the end *vault* all die from 1-2 shots unless you are still packing your level 1 gear

Use the Volcano, Hellfire, Firehawk & Chimera and nothing except Crawmerax will stand in your way

This post makes me shrug. The fact is things are typically more entertaining with friends. They keep you company, they joke and prod. Unless you don't have any friends that is. It also does change the enemies and loot. I'm feeding aren't I?

This thread should either be in the general section or the borderlands section. No idea why threads get moved into the help section that don't seem to belong here at all.

Valve always been good at trolling they took the "Help me fall in love with this game" literally lol

Feeding what? If anyone is often borderline trolling...

Including your post here. What I said was perfectly reasonable. I'm sorry you didn't understand it.

The fundamental style of game, atmosphere, graphics, mechanics, etc don't change. I can understand that it may be more fun with friends. I'm just saying if someone fundamentally dislikes the core game itself, I don't think playing with other people is going to magically make them love the game.

And that is sort of how this thread was shaking out initially. The op posted how he didn't really care for the game itself, on a fundamental level. And people were all like "hurr durr got friends?". And little other substance.

And what do you know.. so did you. With the childish insinuation of a lack of friends.

Again, who's the troll? You just call me a troll to rationalize the fact that I often do not agree with you.

cant imagine playing this alone, that would be so boring, the co-op partner is like the X-factor of this game :-p
PS: love the look of borderlands

Maybe you have simply became too old for games. This wasn't supposed to be an offence, but lately I also find it hard to enjoy most new PC games. I have been a gamer for almost ten years now, and it seems I saw it all. There are only a few games each year that I'm waiting for and would really want to play them. I get bored pretty easily with most games and it wasn't any different with Borderlands.

Just skip this one or take a rest from gaming for a while. That is my advice.
