GMOD crashes on startup

Alright, so today I wanted to get onto garry's mod, and this occured
I startup gmod, istantly crashes
I try it into a different directX mode, and resolution
I verify the content 4.I delete the local content
I delete the entire gmod folder
I do system restore
I try to start gmod back up, crash, no error
I try all steps 3-5 again, still nothing
Reinstall steam, hl2,css, and the other source games, nothing
Goto reddit and ask for help
So please help!
I am not getting any sort of error either, nothing is running in the background, nothing.

I am running windows 7 64-bit, and I do run gmod in as admin.

GMOD, or GMOD 13 will not work.

I can run any other source game, I am running a AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB card. All other source games run fine, GMOD and GMOD 13 do not run.

This probably wont be that helpful, but anyway:

I had this exact same problem, but for me there was no actual fix needed. All I did was get my graphics drivers 100% up to date (actually got the beta driver) restarted my computer to enable it. It still crashed, I restarted again, and it worked, and has worked since.

So if you haven't got the latest drivers, that's probably worth a look.

Can you copy the ENTIRE error message if there is one?
That would help find the issue/fix.
Eg: mine just said appcrash, but said it was caused by something graphics related when i read it fully.

Sounds good mate, I actually noticed my are not up to date fully, I'll try that man.

Rats, wish I could be more helpful. Despite my issue being fixed, it did actually take a very long time to work out and complete(computer refused to update drivers without a heap of earlier ones).

So I know how frustrating it is, when a game wont work for seemingly no reason.
