Torchlight II [Summer 2012]

So on the preorder page, it says coming in Summer 2012.
I was wondering if this is a typo or a joke or something, because it doesn't seem to be coming out in Summer 2012.

Still about one month to go, so give it time.

Thread number 3146579 about why the game isn't out yet. Long story short? They lost their kitten.

Yeah but with less than 2 months to go, I really hope they can make the deadline.

That's the thing, they don't even have a deadline.

Summer does not end in september. Its the end of august at best. If this game is not out by the end of august I will be looking for a preorder refund. I am sick of these preorders that keep getting pushed back. When I preordered this crap it said july.

^actually summer often ends mid september, if you know anything about astronomy.

This year summer ends september 22nd. In the northern hemisphere at least.

1) Summer ends 22nd in September this year.

2) Steam store said July. Runic didn't commit on a date. steam's date is just a placeholder.

3)Runic said they are still aiming for a summer release. they got almost two months to make that date, while making the best game they can in the meanwhile.

Well I saw a Christmas advert on TV so I'm pretty sure it's winter now.

Frankly I don't mind about the "delay" (if it can be called that without having had a release date prior). Pre-ordered it yesterday, actually. I'd rather them release a polished product than rush out something full of bugs and in need of frequent patches on the week of launch.

I'd rather a polished game, then they rush it out so they can appease people who are impatient.
