need serious help with mw2

okay well i have done everything from mw2 config to searching the internet my problem is that i cant even get to the multiplayer menu like i launch it and i can play singleplayer and everything that comes with it but i cant access multiplayer
all i get is a black screen and a loading ball from my cursor

my computer specs are
AMD M880G WITH ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4250
im not overclocked but i can like no lie run mw2 at max settings mas resolution and all settings put on high :\ but i cant play multiplayer so if u guys can help ill be very thankfull
