Crafting Crash

Game works fine, except when I do anything involving items. If I look at backpack, crash. If I go to crafting area, crash. Trading? Crash.

This started occurring when I traded for reclaimed metal.

I can no longer do anything besides join a server. I can not edit loud outs, I can not use new items I get, nothing.

What do I do? I have verified cache, I have defraged it, I have reinstalled.

It's not just loadouts though. It's not just not letting me do it, it's actually crashing the whole thing. The process dies.

Anyone have any information on a fix or something?

Ya, something is wrong with my crafting as well.. when I try to go down the list, it crashes before I can get to the new weapon recipes. This just started happening with the latest patch. Oh wells.

In mine, when i start tf2 it goes good upto the loading screen and then *crash*

I just found this out too.
I tried to craft a Bushwacka but apparently every time I go to crafting, instant crash.
That's pretty annoying.

I had a crash when scrolling down the blueprints list, but it didn't repeat itself. Not sure what caused it.

Valve's latest update did come with an ungodly amount of bugs. They should be fixed within the week(valve time).

This happens to me too. I crash if I click trade, a few seconds later "HL2.exe has stopped working"

BTW This happens every time.

Happening for me too. I did a few tests and it's connected to the Sydney Sleeper. I read someone else mention this exact problem with this weapon too. Every single other weapon on the list is fine, but when I even hover over the blueprint name in the list, insta-crash.

Must be linked with the trial thing? I trialed the SS for a day. It expired so I decided to craft it, then this started. Or it could've always just so happened to be crashing if you select SS on the list. Can anyone else try? Thanks.

I just tried this and sure enough I crashed! As soon as I move my mouse over the SS it crashes. This deserves a bump and a fix. Nice find, but man this needs to be fixed. As long as people don't go near the SS they should be able to craft. I did some crafting this past weekend without any issues.
