How to re-download a game

I purchased KOTR and installed it, but I received a message that the installation was bad and I need to try again.
I cannot find a way to download my game again. I can plan it online, but that is not what I want.

Than you
Mariana

It should be in your game library if you bought it on Steam.

Library > Right mouse button on the game > Delete local content.
Sort the games list by: ALL GAMES. Double click Star Wars; Knights of the Old Republic.

Right-click on the game name in the detailed view -> Properties -> Local files -> "Check Integrity of file cache". Done.

You can reverifying the game cache first. That will ensure all the files are ok. If you can play the game why do you need to re download though.

Right click on the game in you're Steam library, select "delete local contents" then after it finishes click on "install."

Alternatively you can right click, and select "properties" then go to the "local files" tab and select "verify integrity of game cache..." which may fix the error without having to re-download the entire game.

Verifying would be easier to do than reinstalling, as it would only have to redownload the files that are missing or corrupt.

This, verify first. Download again as a last resort.
