BOSS problems - Windows 7 64-Bit

Whenever I try to run BOSS (through the command executable OR GUI)It doesn't detect oblivion. I have the steam version of oblivion and it is installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion" It detects morrowind (which i have the retail version for) and it is installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind". Anyone know how to fix? Itried running it as admin and in windows xp compatibility

Oh yeah, here are my specs, but I dont think that has much to do with it.

Ram - 8gb DDR3
Video Card - Nvidia Geforce GT 630m 1GB VRam
Processor - Intel core i52.5GHz (4 CPU's)
OS - Windows 7 64Bit home premium

From where are you running BOSS from? I extracted all the files into a random folder I have reserved for Oblivion utilities, separate from both Oblivion's and Skyrim's installation folder and it detects both. If you want it to only detect and run for one game, try putting BOSS in the folder that contains Oblivion's executable.

In your case...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion

EDIT: I just moved my whole BOSS folder into the folder that has Oblivion's executable and now I don't have to choose whether I want it to run for Skyrim or Oblivion. I just wish I can figure out how to get the BOSS shortcut back into Wrye Bash.

I have the same problem, but with Morrowind. I purchased it on Steam, but BOSS doesn't detect it. It would seem Morrowind's entries are absent from the registry, or in a place that BOSS doesn't know to look. Does anyone know a solution?

You need to use Mlox with Morrowind.
