Smile To all who like the game...

To all who like the game, please start a new thread and tell other people THAT you like the game and perhaps even tell them why you like it.

That might give some more people enough reason to try it.

Why would you be so cruel?

Some people work for their money, and most don't have enough time to play through mediocre games before finding decent ones. :/

Mediocre is being a tad nice for dungeons, isn't there a word just below mediocre without being horribly bad? Or perhaps the latter is just suiting enough.

Sub-par. Even that's generous in my opinion. Dungeons manages to be bland in every respect so maybe it should be called average. Except it's boring. For a game being boring is the worst possible thing because you can overlook graphics, bugs and bad voice acting but if it's boring then none of that matters because you can't even work up the energy to care.

Dungeons is wall paper paste; functional but completely devoid of any emotion or appeal. Deciding that this game deserves your attention as opposed to the plethora of other sims, RTS and strategy games that are considerably better is like turning down tickets to an ACDC concert because you're already going to see S Club 7.

I actually really DON'T like seeing these threads. Everywhere I go on steam it's people saying they don't like a game and then everyone who mildly enjoyed it gets huffy and MUST make threads that basically end up insulting anyone who didn't enjoy it and no one gets anywhere.

If you enjoy the game, post a review on GameFAQs or metacritic or something, don't turn steam forums into a flamewar.

You see, the advantage of this forum is, YOUR opinion is just that, YOUR opinion. And I like it otherwise. And that is MY opinion. And that is the reason this thread exists.
Btw, what was the point of your post? You bumped a thread you do not like?

And do I really understand you right? You only want to have threads where people complain? Because...? Ok, forget it, I am not interested in your opinion. Just DO NOT write again anything. Ever. Anywhere. DON'T!
I know, you are complaining and you are following your own rules, but do it elsewhere...like... on the bottom of a sea?

I've never really followed the 'I can say whatever I want because I put the words "my opinion" near it' approach. The point I made was that these kinds of threads provoke meaningless flamewars... oh, hey! You proved my point.

ZanyCynic; it's not often that I encounter anyone as cruel and heartless as myself. I am ashamed to admit that even I did not think of persuading innocent people into willingly torturing themselves by the means of playing this game.

WARNING: Any self aware (and sane) being should steer clear of this game. If you insist of buying the game however, I know of a few types of entertainment that are equally as fun to spend your time with.

1) Picking up red hot coal with your hands
2) Playing with a wheel and a wooden stick
3) Staring at a blank wall
4) Working at an assembly line
5) Drinking cold coffee

Have a nice day.

why most of the people here make me remember the "overreacted girlfriend" meme? (I don't know if they are called "meme" in English, too).

I think you mean the overattached girlfriend meme. And yes, the word meme is used in English, since it was coined by a British botanist in 1976.

Anyway, perhaps this "I like Dungeons" thread should be started up. It would be an awesome study in Stockholm Syndrome. Fortunately there are two far better games in the same vein coming out shortly - Impire and something to do with Dwarves. Perhaps then this turd will FINALLY flush for good.
