CS GO is better. More wall banging, more recoil, smoother hit boxes (unless you love your random kills), more weapons (that are fun), weapons are a lot more balance and less useless than source. And so on.

I second weapon balance. The new economy features/various tweaks make most of the weapons seem viable in certain situations.

CS:GO is what CSS should have been.

CS:GO is an improvement in pretty much every way. The only thing I could make an argument about being better in CSS is the directional sound, which still isn't "right" in GO.

Maybe CSS Nuke, too.

valve added only global shadowing to graphics in cs:go.
the rest of graphics the same and sucks in terms
of number of model polygons rendered.

the rest of cs:go just sucks comparing to cs:s -
sounds, movement control and so on.

CS:GO for sure (Played 1.6 since 2003, and CSS since the release)

Source.

CSS has better movement, has tagging, and overall more skill required.

The combination of movement and tagging makes CSS a game that requires more skill. In CSGO I did much better spraying with a galil then taking aimed burst shots with the AK (like what I do in CSS).

I'm not sure if it's just me, but sometimes I feel like my bullets go right through them and not hit anything (but I see the blood stain). I know the netcode in CSS is not the best, but it's far better than what's in CSGO (though it might be because I do quick-play and probably get put into a match with high ping).
